“Vai ser preciso sangrar as palavras/(…)/a palavra partir a palavra chegar”
(Cesariny, 1981:158).
Não conhecemos os nossos limites. Medimo-los colocando à prova as nossas capacidades. No momento de correr riscos sangramos o pensamento. A chegada, essa, poderá ser em qualquer outro lugar. Neste espaço desenvolveremos práticas experimentais que convidarão a perceber o intervalo entre pensamento e o ato limite em situação de risco. No desenvolvimento da prática, improvisaremos. O processo ajudará a estabelecer “um mapa antes de entrar ou iniciar o (…) corpo no espaço.” (Henrique, 2002:17). No espaço, experimentar-se-ão “artérias paralelas a (…) pontos pré-definidos que (…) servem de indicadores (…) tentando não julgar as (…) acções e apenas (…) vivenciar esse território.”(ibidem). Desta prática resultarão formas de representação artística que constituirão, a partir de cada um, o testemunho tornado físico da sua vivência/memória. Outras, as que apresentaremos noutro formato, terão resultado de um semelhante exercício de (des)memória do desastre vivido, do risco outrora corrido, tornado arte.

* Teresa Maria de Moura Portugal Norton Dias. Natural de Beira/Moçambique, faz a sua formação académica e artística entre aquela ex-colónia portuguesa, Portugal Continental e Insular e Londres, em Inglaterra, na Arts Educational Schools. É licenciada em História, variante de História da Arte, pela Universidade de Lisboa e Mestre em Relações Interculturais pela Universidade Aberta. É membro da InSEA (International Society for Education Through Art) e foi associada fundadora da AAEAM (Associação Artística de Educação pela Arte na Madeira). É, desde 2011, investigadora integrada do CEMRI/UAb – LabAV. Em 2013 foi convidada para integrar a equipa de investigadores colaboradores do CLEPUL-Pólo Madeira. As suas principais áreas de interesse são as migrações e os fenómenos interculturais, a antropologia visual, media e mediação cultural, arte e educação, corpo e movimento.

Guide lines
We know our limits. We measure them testing our capabilities. At the time of taking risks we bleed our thoughts. The arrival may be elsewhere. In this space experimental practices will be develop and will invite to understand the gap between the thought and the act limit in a risk situation. In the practice development we’ll improvise. The process will help establish “a map before entering or start (…) the body in space.” (Henry 2002:17). In this space, we will experience “parallel arteries to (…) pre-defined points that (…) serve as indicators (…) trying not to judge the (…) actions and only (…) experience that territory.” (ibid.). From this practice will result forms of artistic representation that will form, from each one, the witness made physical of the experience/memory. Others, those that will be shown in another format, will have resulted from a similar exercise of (un)memory of the lived disaster, the risk once taken, that become art.

Teresa Maria de Moura Portugal Norton Dias. Born in Beira/Mozambique, gets her academic and artistic formation between this former Portuguese colony, Continental and Insular Portugal and London, England, at the Arts Educational Schools. She has a degree in History, variant History of Art, University of Lisbon and Master in Intercultural Relations by the Open University. She is a member of InSEA (International Society for Education Through Art) and was founding member of AAEAM (Artistic Association of Education Through Art in Madeira). In 2011 joined CEMRI/UAB – LabAV as an integrated researcher. In 2013 was invited to join the team of collaborators of CLEPUL – Madeira. Her main areas of interest are migration and intercultural phenomena, visual anthropology, media and cultural mediation, art and education, and body movement.
